Program Overview
The Bachelor of Automotive Technology program is focused on equipping students with the technical skills and knowledge required for diagnosing, repairing, and innovating automotive systems and technologies. This includes hands-on training in automotive engineering, electronics, and sustainable practices, preparing graduates for various roles in the automotive industry.
Program objectives
The Bachelor of Automotive Technology (BAT) Program shall produce graduates who had:

- c.10 Proficiently use automotive tools, equipment and effectively perform the different welding processes.
- c.11 Perform engine servicing, removal and installation of vehicle components for both diesel and gasoline-engine powered vehicles.
- c.12 Inspect, clean and repair mechanical or electrical parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of light and heavy-duty automotive vehicles with diesel or gasoline engine in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and service engine mechanical components such as cooling and lubricating system, perform power train, underchassis and air-conditioning servicing and repair.
- c.13 Operate light motor vehicle, transport passengers and loads over specified routes to local or district location and comply with national and local traffic rules and regulations and perform minor vehicle repairs and other minor servicing.
- c.14 Apply the developed competencies required of TESDA’s National Certificate Standards.
